And We’re Back!
Yes, The Blog of Champions is back! I'm rested, rejuvenated, and ready to blog once again. I was on the island of Nantucket, probably my favorite place on earth. If you get a chance to go, please do. It will be worth it.
Now, what have we missed in sports news? Oh, I don't know, the Olympics? Yes, I am stricken with Olympic Fever. And it might take a while for it to go down. Let's start with the obvious, Michael Phelps. Actually, that's a typo. His name is Superhuman. You've all seen the videos, I'm sure. All I can say is wow. I've never been much of a swimming fan. But I am now. That's what he has done. Amazing.
What else? Well, USA dominates gymnastics. I wish I could provide commentary, but I don't really know enough to do so. I could talk about pommel horse this, uneven bar that, but it wouldn't be fair. So I'm not going to.
The 'Redeem' Team looks good, as I predicted. D-Wade is unstoppable. Anything but a gold would be shocking. But then again, that's what we said in 2004.
