Offseason Plans-Marlins
The Marlins have surprised everyone, and are still in contention. Let's see what they will do.
MARLINS OFFSEASON PLANS:
Who will they bring back?: I don't think Paul Lo Duca will be coming back. Same with Wes Helms. Same with Mark Hendrickson. Luis Gonzalez might retire. Arthur Rhodes could stay.
Who will they get?: They made a run at Manny at the deadline. Could he be coming here? Unlikely, as he wants a ton of money. Catcher is a priority.Michael Barrett? Miguel Olvio? One of those two might suffice. Sources have told me that Mike Jacobs could be on the block, as well as Dan Uggla, but Jacobs is more likely to be traded. Kevin Gregg is also available, the sources say. He could get a decent return. If Jacobs is gone, they could sign Hank Blalock They could move Jorge Cantu to first, and try Dallas McPherson at third, if they want to stay within the organization. They might take a look at Brian Fuentes.

This is a young, talented team. Should be fun to watch. Next up is the Phillies.

Miguel Olivo was their starter last year so I assume that something happened for him to have left the team. In this case, I couldn’t see him as an option.
