Bulls-Celtics: Instant Classic
I hadn't really watched the Bulls-Celtics series. I read about it, I saw highlights, but I never watched a game. That changed last night. Game 6 was one of the BEST game I have ever seen. It had it all. Clutch moments. Triple (!) OT. Great team defense. Great individual performances. And really, it was the way basketball is supposed to be played. Here are some clips:
That might have been the turning point of the game. Not only did Noah turn the momentum back in Chicago's favor, Paul Pierce fouled out on this play.
Man, what defense by Rose. What poise by a rookie to stay with Rondo. I'm going to go out on a limb here. We are seeing the evolution of the two next great point guards in this league. Derrick Rose and Rajon Rondo will be duking it out for years to come.
Simply put, Ray Allen has been amazing in this series. Even though they lost, his game 6 performance was outstanding.
This has been a phenomenal series. Game 7 will be amazing. Enjoy it. You don't see this very often, it at all. BTW, I will most likely be doing a live chat during the game or tweeting during the game. Haven't decided yet.
