Game 7 Madness
Like I've said many times before, I love hockey. Even more, I love playoff hockey. There is drama, intrigue, passion, giving up your body for a common goal, sacrificing to lift that Cup above your head. Today, there were two game 7's. Red Wings beat the Ducks, while Hurricanes beat the Bruins. Red Wings won with three minutes left. Hurricanes won in OT, with a minute or so left. There's nothing better. I don't have rooting interest in any of the teams left. I'm a Ranger fan through and through. But I can watch playoff hockey, I can watch Game 7's. It's unbelievable. Your eyes are glued to the TV. It gets your heart pumping. I can only hope that the Conference finals live up to the playoffs so far. I'll be sure to provide analysis before the series start.
