Buehrle Retires 45 Straight, Sets MLB Record
Mark Buehrle is on a pitching hot streak of record proportions. After his perfect game a week ago, Buehrle retired the first 17 hitters in his next start. That makes for 45 straight batters retired. He lost this no hitter in the 7th inning.
I don't think a pitcher has been this good, this dominating, this, well, perfect ever. He's dominating. It's amazing. The White Sox will follow his lead to the postseason. And then he should get a nice pay raise.
