Players I’d Be Surprised If They Took Steroids
I don't get surprised anymore when I find out a player has taken steroids. It's become a part of the culture of baseball. I expect it. I don't like it. But I'm used to it now. However, in order to protect the baseball fan's sanity, I thought of a couple players I would be shocked if they took steroids.
1. Albert Pujols
The last great hope for baseball. The only clean great player. I hope he's clean. Because he's so good. He's so dominant. If he tests positive for 'roids, baseball will come falling down.
2. Derek Jeter
He plays the game the right way. He hustles. He wins. As a Yankee fan, a positive test would be tough to take.
Unfortunately, these are the only two players I would be surprised about. Everyone else I wouldn't. Because it seems like everyone is doing it. Maybe Pujols and Jeter did it, too. Maybe I'm drawing a blind eye, because I don't want them to be on steroids. Either way, I would be shocked.
