It’s The Economy, Stupid!

So guess what? Some good economic news! The GDP rose 3.5% in the third quarter! This is great news. It also means, technically, the recession is over. A recession is when the GDP declines for a certain period of time. When it rises, technically, we're out of it. Of course, people looking for jobs are not going to find this news encouraging. Until the unemployment rate is to an acceptable number, we're still in a recession. But technically, we're out of it. Woohoo!!
