Caps-Pens= Huge Disappointment
I love hockey. And I was really looking forward to Game 7 of the Caps Pens series. The first six games had it all; intense drama, high octane scoring, superstars. I was hoping that Game 7 would be the climax. Maybe it would be more. It wasn't. It was an awful game. First 10 minutes, nothing happened. Then Sidney Crosby scored. Alright, 1-0. Eight seconds later, 2-0. Craig Adams scored. First minute and a half of the second period, two more goals. I subsequently turned it off. I was hoping, and I think all hockey fans were, for unbelievable drama. For this game to go in to OT. For Crosby to score more. For Ovechkin to dazzle across the ice. We didn't see it. We saw Simeon Varlamov become human. Canes-Bruins Game 7 is tomorrow. Hopefully, it will live up to the hype.
